This guide explains how users can receive notifications in RDrive based on subscriptions, and automation rules.- Purpose: To help users understand how to receive updates about items they’re involved with.

Prerequisites: Access to items in RDrive and appropriate permissions.

Situation-by-Situation Instructions
✅ Situation 1: I want to get notified about updates on an Item I’m involved in
- Navigate to the desired item.
- Click the dropdown menu.
- Select Subscribe to start receiving notifications for status changes and updates.
✅ Situation 2: I want to subscribe other teammates to an Item

If you have the required permissions:
- Open the item.
- Click the dropdown menu > Subscribe.
- Add or remove users in the dialog.
- Confirm to save your changes.
✅ Situation 3: I want notifications to be triggered by automation
- Project administrators can configure automation rules that automatically subscribe or unsubscribe users based on the item’s status.

- Auto-subscribe the responsible party when an item changes to “In Progress”.
- Unsubscribe users when the item is marked as “Closed”.

To receive push notifications on the RDrive mobile app:
- Make sure the notification permission is enabled in your device settings.
- Ensure you are logged into the correct project or company.
- Confirm that you are subscribed to the item.

❓ I’m not receiving notifications even though I subscribed.✔️ APP - Check that your device has notifications enabled and that you’re logged into the correct project.
✔️ For email - Please check your email’s junk or spam folder, or contact your company’s IT team to ensure the sender’s domain is approved and not blocked. ❓ Can I receive notifications without being the assignee?
