Tag is a way of grouping things. With tagging, you can group form fields to form a section and apply conditional editing based on status; you can group locations to form an area and apply for permissions with conditions on tags. It is a way of data management and makes it so that when there are new items in the future, you just need to tag them with the existing tags and all your rules will continue to work as intended. You no longer need to modify your rules just because there are new things added to the project.

On the RDrive server, we have different types of tags, Such as

Tags could be used as a condition of the permission set up, a Criteria when search.

Drawing tag:

Can be a condition of access on read, edit, delete of Drawing and all rules of Location, Drilldown, Process, and Issue. Also, it can be used on the Report policy and Subscription policy as a condition on the rule.

Location tag:

Can be a condition of access on read, edit, delete of Location and all rules of Drilldown, Process, and Issue. Also, it can be used on the Report policy and Subscription policy as a condition on the rule.

Process template/profile tag & Issue template/profile tag:

Have a relationship with the Team tag, and make use of the permission for all actions of the process and issue as a condition or criteria option “Matches my team tag” and a selection of “Profile tag”.

Form template tag:

This can be some of the condition or criteria options on the Form actions permission.

Form status tag & Issue status tag:

Can be a condition of access on read, edit, change status, closed, reopen, assign, share, move, delete and an option on change status, closed of Form and Issue. And, can be used on the Report policy as a condition on the rule.

Form field tag & Issue field tag:

Setup on the template for a section and apply conditional editing based on the status.

Team tag:

Have a relationship with the Process template/profile tag & Issue template/profile tag, and make use of the permission for all actions of the process and issue as a condition or criteria option “Matches my team tag” and “Controlled by my team tag”. And, can be used on the subscription policy setting, “Assigned to team tag”.
